The Chin-Chin Boutique Hotel is housed in a listed building dating back to the 12th century and is located in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage city of Regensburg. Here, you are right in the midst of the vibrant Old Town, while also surrounded by historic walls that exude a timeless sense of tranquility. Our 17 rooms are individually designed, each dedicated to a chapter of Regensburg’s history. You can, for example, stay in the room dedicated to the famous Regensburg hat maker or select the Cathedral Room.
When designing our rooms, we placed particular emphasis on comfort and cosiness. Our rooms are luxuriously appointed and feature all modern amenities, including a minibar, flat-screen TV, hairdryer and exclusive toiletries. Many of our rooms also offer beautiful views of Regensburg’s Old Town and the Cathedral.
Just a stone’s throw from the hotel, you can find both the narrow, winding streets of the Old Town and its lively squares. Haidplatz, Bismarckplatz and Neupfarrplatz, as well as the Danube, the Stone Bridge, the Cathedral and the Old Town Hall are all within easy walking distance. What makes Regensburg special for you? Hotel and bar become one
In 2015, we made a long-held dream come true by opening our very first boutique hotel, after previously running a 70-room hotel in Regensburg from 2007 to 2012. Just a year later, we launched our own favourite bar. The hotel was to be named “Hotel Bohemian” and the bar “Chin-Chin” – a place where comfort, style and vibrant city life come together.
Both are located in the same building on Gesandtenstraße 12. Most of our long-standing guests did not even realise that we run both the hotel and the bar. On the occasion of our 10th anniversary, we decided that the two are inseparable and should share the same name. From now on, the “Bohemian” is also called “Chin-Chin”.
