German Gents - The Colours of Christmas

The Colours of Christmas: On 27 December, the German Gents bring festive a cappella music to Regensburg’s Dreieinigkeitskirche. Expect Christmas classics, international melodies, modern arrangements and the unmistakable sound of the Berlin-based ensemble.

The Colours of Christmas

With their unmistakable a cappella sound, the German Gents have captivated millions of viewers on TikTok and Instagram and have long made a name for themselves internationally. In recent years, their concert tours have taken them to destinations including China, Luxembourg and England.

Founded by former members of the renowned Staats- und Domchor Berlin, the singers combine a strong classical vocal education with an extraordinary stylistic range. Their repertoire spans everything from the music of the Roaring Twenties and jazz and rock ’n’ roll classics to modern pop songs and viral social media trends. Romantic male choir repertoire and Renaissance works are equally part of their musical world.

With unique arrangements, plenty of wit, style and emotion, the German Gents bring tradition and contemporary culture together to create an extraordinary concert experience – captivating audiences far beyond the world of traditional a cappella.

Doing good together

This year’s concert will once again raise funds for a good cause, supporting the new children’s hospital in Regensburg.

For the festive concert evening, straw-and-wood stars and red Christmas poinsettias will decorate the Dreieinigkeitskirche. After the concert, guests can take the stars and plants home in exchange for a donation.

The initiative was already a great success last year during The Nutcracker, raising €1,000 for charity. This year, the organisers are once again hoping for plenty of support – and an equally generous donation total.
