WINE:WALK Regensburg - 6 Winemakers. 2 Venues. 1 Evening.
With WINE:WALK Regensburg, CHIN-CHIN and DEGGINGER are bringing six winemakers right into the heart of Regensburg’s Old Town. No trade-show booths, no stiff tastings, no lengthy talks. Instead, it’s about what wine should really be about: meeting people, tasting, talking, discovering something new and simply having a really good evening.
The six winemakers will be spread across CHIN-CHIN and DEGGINGER. Three here, three there – and in between lies the WINE:WALK itself. No guided tour, no fixed groups and no complicated system. Just walk over, discover a wine, move on, come back or simply stay wherever the atmosphere feels best.
Each winemaker is bringing three carefully selected wines to Regensburg: an easy-going introduction, something more intriguing in the middle and a special bottle to finish. All wines will be available by the glass and by the bottle throughout the evening. Small tasting pours are, of course, part of the experience – because sometimes all it takes is that one sip to discover a new favourite wine.
Joining us are Tobias Hirschmüller from Weingut Hirschmüller, Tim Eberhardt from Bleimer Schloß, Alexander Fritsch from Weinberghof Fritsch, Tobias Treis from Weingut Treis, Patrick Dieterich with Zenato and Domaine Fichet from Burgundy.
Together, they bring very different wine worlds to the table in one evening: Württemberg, Bavaria, the Moselle, Austria, Italy and France. Different regions, different styles and different stories – but one shared idea: not simply to pour wine, but to experience it together with the people behind it.
The date of 18 September has been chosen very deliberately. While the well-known wine festival takes place in Stadtamhof around the Stone Bridge, we want to pick up that spirit and carry the celebration of wine across the bridge and into the Old Town on our side.
Not against it, but alongside it.
The Stone Bridge won’t divide us that evening – it will connect us.
That’s why WINE:WALK Regensburg is about more than just wine. DEGGINGER will feature live music, while CHIN-CHIN will shift into DJ sounds and a late-night bar atmosphere. There will be food, both indoors and outdoors, and above all plenty of opportunities to meet, mingle and start a conversation.
The evening should feel easy. Uncomplicated. Personal.
Drink wine. Talk about it. Meet people. Have a great evening.
At the same time, WINE:WALK Regensburg is the first taste of something bigger.
Because in June 2027, one evening is set to become an entire weekend: the WINE & GOURMET FESTIVAL REGENSBURG in the gardens of Prüfening Palace.
Three days filled with wine, food, music, winemakers, encounters and shared experiences.
WINE:WALK Regensburg is where it all begins.
Still small. Still uncomplicated. But with a clear idea.
This is only the beginning.
See you on the other side – WINE CONNECTS

Not as a counter-event. Not as another wine festival. But as our own urban addition, on the other side of the Stone Bridge.
